The ensemble was founded in November of 2008 by a handful of men committed to excellence in vocal and choral performance.
Nashville Singers performs the music that has made America great. The group has developed a reputation for producing imaginative programs that span many genres, including popular music, Americana, swing, gospel, sacred, songs from Broadway and movies, and a large selection of Christmas holiday favorites.
Their mission is to enrich lives through singing and the support of music education.
The Nashville Singers have awarded $10,750.00 in music education grants and scholarships from 2011 through 2015, impacting hundreds of kids at schools and nonprofits across Middle Tennessee.
The singers are all volunteers and travel from five different counties throughout Middle Tennessee to be a part of the chorus.
In almost six years, this volunteer group of songsters has already learned 64 songs, released two CDs, racked up 85 performances for 43 organizations in eight counties across Tennessee, and produced multiple concerts attracting a combined 2,000+ attendees from 43 cities in 10 states across the USA.
